I facilitate workshops in various professional and personal environments about the power of storytelling in work and in life. The sessions are lively and interactive and can be tailored to participants’ goals and needs, and involve guided discussions and time for coached writing and reflection.
I’m trained in narrative therapy—an emerging technique that focuses on re-interpreting our lived experiences in order to form new understandings about ourselves—by the renowned Evanston Family Therapy Center, the only organization teaching this discipline in the U.S. I’m using these skills to design a curriculum specifically for recovering addicts and people who struggle with mental illness.
I’m also the founder of Wordsy Wednesday, an informal writing salon that frequently gathers in San Francisco.
